ABOUT US
DF/Net Research, Inc. is the partnership of Darryl Pahl and Lisa Ondrejcek. The two principal partners have a combined 30 years of direct DataFax experience.
With DF/Net Research you are getting much more than just our principals' experience. Through our relationship with professionals within the DataFax community, we have access to a wide range of experts with the specific skills needed to complete any DataFax-related task, large or small.

LISA ONDREJCEK, President
Ms. Ondrejcek uses her background in languages, teaching, and project management to great effect as the principal study manager, CRF designer, and trainer for DF/Net Research.
Ms. Ondrejcek has over eight years of experience as a technical document specialist. As someone who uses FrameMaker for developing DataFax CRFs, she has developed skills and techniques which optimize its powerful capabilities. This results in efficient, cleanly designed, and effective Case Report Forms.
Before founding DF/Net Research, Lisa was a Technical Document Specialist for the Statistical Center for HIV/AIDS Research and Prevention (SCHARP) in Seattle, WA. Having gained experience through working on form sets from a wide variety of protocols, Ms. Ondrejcek has developed a good eye for highly effective forms design. One of her greatest skills is in applying this practical experience to improve the overall usability and function of Case Report Forms in real-world settings.
Many people in the DataFax community know Lisa through her role as CDSI's FrameMaker for DataFax training instructor. Lisa has also taught this course on-site at locations around the world.
As a result of her background in forms design, Ms. Ondrejcek has an intimate knowledge of study set-up, design and implementation.
Ms. Ondrejcek has a Masters Degree in languages from New York University (NYU). Her language skills and background and certification as a teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL) make her an excellent project manager and contact lead for our international clients.

product's inception, including working directly for Wayne Taylor, the developer of DataFax and President of Clinical DataFax Systems Inc. (CDSI).
In his role at DF/Net Research, Darryl has provided DataFax services for a wide variety of clients. His work with dozens of DataFax users provides Darryl with a unique insight into what does and doesn't work in the implementation of DataFax. Mr. Pahl was the pioneer of Internet-based relay systems for DataFax studies in developing countries. The nature of international infectious diseases research, including HIV, tropical parasites and TB, involves developing robust and cost-effective systems for performing clinical research in difficult settings. DF/Net Research specializes in studies which are often conducted in technology-challenged areas of the world. Mr. Pahl has on-the-ground experience in such countries as Brazil, Eduador, Kenya, Malawi, Peru, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Mr. Pahl has the proven experience to take on each country's unique research challenges.
