Account Manager Clinical Trials

Account Managers at DFnet manage and expand important relationships with key stakeholders across the business, IT, and C-suite at Life Sciences research organizations. You identify and grow sales opportunities within assigned organizations. You are always acting with urgency and integrity while maintaining a strong focus on the client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the business growth within our Sales & Marketing for our global existing clients and partners, and create new opportunities
- Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets in the assigned accounts
- Utilize a value-based selling approach to sell the DFnet software and services across the enterprise with a vision of being a trusted partner to your customers
- Know and understand the customer’s strategic direction and how DFnet supports it with software, data, and consulting
- Manage multiple complex sales cycles, leverage internal and external resources
- Deliver analytics and benchmarking around account progress, maturity and value
- Assist with proposal writing including the development of template responses to standard questions
- Coordinate the preparation and development of grant and contract proposals, and progress reports
- Manage the pipeline of incoming RFPs/RFQs and other requests from serving as Proposal Lead in accordance with the Proposal Handling Process
- Support the DF/Net Business Development Team with marketing and communications activities
- Lead and support other areas of the Revenue & Growth
- Attend client meetings, networking events and industry conferences, as requested
- Maintain a consistent work schedule in accordance with departmental and company expectations
- Comply with industry regulatory requirements and standards and DFnet Research Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, selling into the Clinical Trial space or substantial experience selling into CROs, pharma, biotech or medical device ecosystem
- PROVEN track record of success – specifically exceeding sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis
- Minimum of 3+ years in technology consulting, key account management or strategic CSM, within MedDevice, CRO or SaaS (focusing on Life Sciences or Hospitals)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas (CARR or P&L Target)
- Strategic account planning and execution skills
- Demonstrated relationship-building skills with VP or C-Level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and/or Certification in relevant field
- Knowledge of clinical trial software
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Possesses knowledge and experience of marketing techniques
- Ability to bring on new accounts in targeted markets
- Ability to build a long-term social media presence in support of public relations efforts
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with clients from different cultures
- Ability to earn trust internally and externally with different audiences
- Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written format
- Ability to take initiative to accomplish the desired task
- High attention to detail
Conditions:
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Repetitious computer usage daily
- Occasional travel, including international, based on projects assigned
