Description

DFhostid prints the unique DFdiscover host identifier of the system on the standard output. The output is a 20-character/digit identifier displayed in 5 blocks of 4. Note that the identifier will never contain any of 0 (zero), 1 (one), I (capital i), or O (capital o).

The host identifier of the DFdiscover master machine is required for licensing purposes.

Options

None.

Exit Status

DFhostid always exits with status 0, indicating that the command was successful.
