Exciting news from DFnet’s partner in research, IAVI.

IAVI and partners are set to begin a Phase I mRNA-based HIV vaccine trial based on the same technology as Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine and developed with Scripps Research and Moderna. The long-term goal of this research is to create a safe and effective HIV vaccine and succeed where other non-mRNA candidates have had less promising results.

DFnet has a long history of supporting HIV vaccine research. The DFnet data management team is proud to work alongside IAVI on this ground-breaking trial.

DFnet and IAVI are collaborative members of the Global Health Clinical Consortium (GHCC). The critical work and best practices of GHCC member organizations have a significant impact on clinical research worldwide.
