Investing in the Future of Clinical Trials: Welcoming Emily MacKenzie as VP of Software & Technology
We’re pleased to share that Emily MacKenzie is joining DFnet as Vice President of Software & Technology.
As clinical trials evolve, teams are being asked to manage more complexity, more data sources, and higher expectations for quality and oversight. This role reflects DFnet’s commitment to building technology that supports trial execution in the real world, particularly for complex and global studies.
Emily will focus on the continued evolution of DFdiscover, DFnet’s trusted, global, unified eClinical platform for clinical research. Her efforts will develop our platform further and enhance our CTMS, AI, and data analytics features, offering customers a unified solution and empowering it to address the changing needs of clinical teams as research grows more challenging and complex.
“Emily brings the kind of technical leadership that helps organizations scale without losing the things that matter most: reliability, quality, and predictability,” said Amy Apostoleris, CEO of DFnet. “Her leadership will support DFnet’s ability to keep advancing our platform in ways that help teams reduce friction, protect data integrity, and make decisions earlier during execution.”
Emily has held senior engineering leadership roles across healthcare and regulated technology environments, including Magnet Forensics, Karos Health, and Agfa Healthcare. Across these roles, she focused on building regulated platforms, improving delivery practices, and supporting software used in real-world, high-stakes environments.
Please join us in welcoming Emily to DFnet. We’re looking forward to the leadership and momentum she’ll bring as we continue building for what clinical research teams need next.
