Patches
DFweb Version 5.10.4 – patch release – 2026/05/06
DFdiscover Version 5.10.3 – patch release – 2026/03/02
DFws Version 5.10.3 – patch release – 2026/02/17
- DFws now supports deployment behind an NGINX reverse proxy, enabling externally hosted DFweb, DFengage, and DFws to run under a single FQDN and port 443. Refer to the Nginx Configuration Guide for details about how to configure the reverse proxy.
- An issue was resolved where page map labels using field substitution could incorrectly display the plate label when the referenced field was blank. Page labels now display correctly for user-defined fields, with clear handling for blank, hidden, or invalid fields. Substitutions for system fields (fields 1-7) will be supported in a future release.
- A server-side issue was fixed where trailing spaces in field descriptions could cause data save failures in DFweb. This update ensures queries and reasons for change are processed correctly, preventing save errors.
- DFdiscover has been updated to correct an issue with the AWK environment variable that caused compatibility warnings with certain legacy reports on RHEL systems.
DFweb Version 5.10.3 – patch release – 2026/03/04
- DFweb now supports deployment behind a reverse proxy for self-hosted environments.
- Field entry detection has been enhanced to ensure consistent behavior during data entry. In rare cases, certain mouse interactions could prevent the system from recognizing that a field was entered, leading to missed edit checks, query updates, or reasons for change. DFweb now tracks interactions more robustly to ensure expected workflows are always triggered.
- An issue was resolved where saving a page in Validate mode could fail if the user did not have permission to modify queries. DFweb now respects user permissions during save operations, preventing errors and ensuring that reasons for change are properly recorded.
- DFengage invite and login links generated by DFweb now consistently use the standard DFengage mobile URL. This fix ensures links reliably open the mobile app, even when DFengage web is hosted separately by clients.
DFcollect Version 5.10.2 – patch release – 2026/01/06
An issue has been fixed in DFcollect on iOS/iPadOS where some screens were not readable when the Dark display setting was enabled on the device. DFcollect’s display remains the same in both Light and Dark mode.
DFweb Version 5.10.1 – patch release – 2025/12/01
A bug was fixed where new subjects could not be added in DFweb when the subject alias setting was enabled.di
